Ausdance NT
Description: Ausdance is the national professional service organisation for dance, working locally, nationally and internationally. Ausdance NTis part of the national Ausdance network and is the peak body for dance in the Northern Territory. Based in Darwin, Ausdance NT has operated as a non-profit organisation since 1985 and continues to work with dance professionals, practitioners, community groups, other organisations and enthusiasts to support and foster the development, intention and growth of dance in the Northern Territory. Ausdance NT Services Ausdance NT membership benefits and services include:
- Advice, consultation and advocacy of dance across the sector, including urban, rural and remote community-based projects.
- Support and guidance in promotion, grant and funding applications, fund-raising and events, professional and community development.
- Promotion of NT artists, groups, companies, events and activities through local, regional and national Ausdance networks.
- distribution of Ausdance NT E-Bulletin updates, including coming events, classes and workshops, opportunities and announcements.
- Publication of Ausdance NT newsletter ‘All About Dance’ and distribution of national dance journal ‘Dance Forum’
- Studio and tarkett hire (including special member rates)
