Geographical Location

Darwin and surrounds is the home of the Larrakia people who have a unique place in the Darwin community as the acknowledged traditional custodians of Darwin and the surrounding region. As Darwin is the capital city of the Northern Territory it is also a meeting place for Indigenous people from across the Territory, and a place where a wide variety of Indigenous art can be experienced.
