I am a Visual Artist based in Ireland & the UK and I currently am working on a International Visual Art Project 'The Core Project'.

I was wondering if you know an Artist, Resident or local who might have a moment to film two minutes on a Digital Camera, Video Camera, Mobile Phone or even a webcamera in Australia. The Core Project is a Visual Art endeavour, devised by the Visual Artist Matthew Nevin. Matthew who is co-curator of MART - www.martgroup.org - is collaborating with Artists and Residences across all the nations of the world to create one piece of work broadcast to millions. This Video Art Project shall contain 200+ Videos, one entry representing each of the Sovereign States or Countries of the world. The project shall be shown here online at www.the-core-project.com and during MART’s European Tour Exhibition ‘An Instructional’, visiting: Dublin, London, Bratislava, Athens, Berlin and Bergen.

The Core Project is looking for submissions from Visual Artists or Residents from each nation in the world. The exact question that is asked to the contributor is kept hidden until they begin to record. One Video shall be chosen in the initial stage to represent each nation.
