Entries Open for Human Rights Art Award and Exhibition
It’s on again!! Darwin Community Legal Service is pleased to announce that entries are officially open for the 14th annual Human Rights Art Award and Exhibition!
The theme for this year is ‘Planet Earth’. Artists are invited to address this theme, but are also welcome to address any other aspect of human rights of interest to them. Work may be in any medium, and artists may submit individual work, or may like to work collaboratively with other artists or community members. This year work will be displayed on black panels.
Entries close Monday 8 December 2008. The exhibition will be held in the beautiful Darwin Supreme Court Foyer, with the opening, and presentation of awards in a number of categories, to be held on Thursday 11 December 2008, 5.30pm -7pm.
The exhibition will be open until December 19. This year artists also have the opportunity to have their work displayed in Palmerston. Please contact Felicity at DCLS on 8982 1111 or felicity@dcls.org.au for more information.
