The Tiwi Art Network is an alliance of three art centres on the Tiwi
Islands whose purpose is to promote an awareness of Tiwi Art. The
alliance was formed in 1998 by Jilamara Arts and Crafts at Milikapiti,
Munupi Arts & Crafts at Pirlangimpi and Tiwi Design at Nguiu. The
Tiwi
Art Network has a small gallery in Parap and is one of the few
Aboriginal-owned galleries in Darwin.
Visitors to the gallery can view and learn about the art produced at
the three art centres, and get information about the artists.
