The ABC has recently launched The Big Diary, a new online events diary for all sorts of events happening across Australia. Markets, fetes, theatre, gigs, talks and more can be found on the diary. Visitors to The Big Diary can set their location and browse events by category or date. They can add photos, comment on events, share memorable moments and read the Editor’s Blog.

A local version of The Big Diary will be available on every ABC Local site from January 2010, and an arts version will be available on a new ABC site from this October.

To add your event, simply register, login to the site, go to My Events and complete the Add Event form. Your event should appear on the site within 48 hours.
