CIRCUS TRAINER (full time) Closing 1 March 2010 Corrugated Iron Youth Arts in Darwin is seeking a full time circus trainer with experience in community circus, to join our thriving company. A broad level of skills including tissu, mini tramp, juggling, balance and manipulation is required. The successful applicant will be able to train participants aged 6 years - adult, work in both formal and informal environments and create performances to frame varying skill levels. A capacity to train-the-trainer would be an asset. The trainer will work with the Workshop Program and the Indigenous Arts Program Circus Residency as well as in schools and other environments, mostly in urban areas but including some remote community work.
